Medical Transportation Association Holds First Meeting

Medical Transportation Association was formed to be a leader in promoting safety, affordability and professionalism in the industry comprised of ground ambulances, air ambulances and non-emergency medical transportation services.

The Board of Directors were appointed as was the CEO at the First Annual Board of Directors for Medical Transportation Association, a newly formed associations board is a five person board with one member representing the following: ground medical transportation, air medical services, legal and regulatory and two directors at large. The associations’ primary mission is organizing medical transportation providers to promote increased safety, affordability and access to medical transportation provider industry.

The Board of Directors will be publishing on its website the membership information. This information will be made available this month. The association will offer members marketing assistance with an association directory in both print and electronic media. There will be a vendor show cases with special pricing for members and competitive volume purchasing available. The organization will contract with vendors for the legal and regulatory consulting, marketing and public relations. The organization will be seeking dues from its members and will hold annual membership meeting. The next membership meeting will be held on July 31, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois.
