According to a 4 week survey executed by http://www.1golf.eu, (220,000 visitors per month) 2,554 golfers from 34 different countries have voted for the most popular golf courses in Europe and Aphrodite Hills Golf Course was included in the top 20 list – 19th position to be exact.

This is a great achievement for two main reasons. Firstly, there are 6,794 golf courses in Europe which were all included in the survey and secondly because this award is the only one in the golf industry that is not a jury driven award. The voting here was done by actual golf players; therefore, appearing in the Top 20 Most Popular Golf Courses in Europe it is a great deal for Aphrodite Hills and Cyprus.

Aphrodite Hills Golf course, opened in November 2002, is an 18-hole championship course designed by Cabell Robinson. From the back Tees it measures 6,299 meters and spreads undulating fairways dotted with carob and olive trees.
