Energy Edge Customers Benefit from Partnership to Reduce Energy Costs

Reduce Energy Costs

Bridgewater, NJ (PRWEB) August 04, 2011

Energy Edge Technologies Corporation (OTCBB: EEDG.ob) and Solar Energy Management, Inc. announced their partnership today. Energy Edge expands their energy cost reduction services to include solar power systems, insulation technologies and other programs for customers in Florida and other parts of the Southeast U.S.

Solar Energy Management employs an experienced team of LEED AP’s and an architect and “Green” general contractor to provide customized solar power and energy saving solutions. They work to help determine utilization of solar power systems, install solar energy rejection impact windows and film or energy savings electrical systems. They also locate government and power company rebates and incentives and arrange financing for a wide number of projects. LEED certification is also a value added service provided.

“We are very pleased to be partnering on energy projects with Solar Energy Management,” said Robert Holdsworth, President of Energy Edge. “With our two companies working together we now have a very important, additional energy conservation measure to build into our whole facility energy projects for customers.”

Systems from Solar Energy Management provide a non-polluting, environmentally friendly source of electricity that operates silently, has no toxic emissions or greenhouse gases, and creates no hazardous waste. The electricity generated comes from photovoltaic (PV) cells, which convert sunlight directly into electricity, using the sun’s free energy, so the ongoing costs are minimal. In addition, customers can take advantage of a 30% tax grant and one year full depreciation on Solar Energy Management’s solar projects through the end of 2011.

“Energy Edge is a great energy efficiency partner for us,” said Scott McIntyre of Solar Energy Management. “And our customers will benefit from Energy Edge’s expanded suite of energy engineering, energy management, design/build and consulting services. We look forward to providing many more energy saving projects and green solutions for businesses everywhere.”

Energy Edge provides green consulting, energy engineering and whole facility energy projects to both new construction partners and those businesses wishing to improve the operation of an existing building. Green Consulting services include whole facility energy projects, contracting strategies, scheduling, budgeting, RFP writing, tax analysis and much more. As fuel prices continue to skyrocket and as the public continues to learn of the very real, catastrophic problems associated with global warming, energy professionals are in hot demand in the US today to develop alternative fuels, as well as more efficient ways to develop clean and renewable forms of energy.

“In this market, people looking for energy jobs need to know the full scale of opportunities available,” says Harrison Barnes, founder and CEO of EnergyCrossing. “Job openings that are not widely known or publicized are the easiest jobs to get and these are the jobs we specialize in tracking down.”

Unlike other job boards, the site focuses solely on energy jobs, and it doesn’t charge employers to post jobs.

“EnergyCrossing.com is a research company that works for job seekers. We have developed a database of thousands of energy jobs,” Barnes says. “We seek to connect energy professionals to employers.”

The most popular searches on EnergyCrossing.com during its first day in operation were:
