Rockbrook Camp Welcomes New Hire — Catherine Frampton

Rockbrook Camp for Girls (http://www.rockbrookcamp.com), traditional overnight summer camp founded in 1921, hired Catherine Frampton as its full-time Program Director. She will be planning and organizing camp activities and special summer events, managing camper recruitment, and assisting families as they register for camp sessions.

“After many years of working with Catherine, I am thrilled to have her join our team of full-time directors. Her experience as both a camper and cabin counselor, as well as her overall enthusiasm for camp will be great assets as Rockbrook enters its ninth decade,” said Sarah Carter, who owns and operates Rockbrook with her husband Jeff Carter.

“As the newest addition to the year-round Rockbrook team, I am very excited to be a part of a program that is so crucial not only to youth development, but also female empowerment. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the Rockbrook staff in facilitating friendships, fun, and all of the goodness that camp brings to our campers in the summers to come,” said Frampton.

Founded in 1921, Rockbrook (http://www.rockbrookcamp.com/describe/philosophy.html) is a traditional summer camp for girls with a program of horseback riding, sports, outdoor adventure, arts and crafts. The camp facility includes 200-acres of private forest, historic stone lodges, cabins, and equestrian fields.

Prior to joining Rockbrook, Catherine was an undergraduate student at Sewanee: the University of the South where she majored in Anthropology and Women’s Studies. She grew up in New Orleans, LA where in 2007 she was graduated from the Isidore Newman School.

Rockbrook is an overnight summer camp in North Carolina with horseback riding, outdoor adventure, and traditional camp activities. Girls ages 6-16 attend for 2-, 3- or 4-week sessions.

Revolution Softball Camps has published their 2011 summer softball camp schedule. Over the past 5 years we have received much interest about running softball camps from families in all of our other sports.

Revolution Softball Camps have a unique balance between instruction and scrimmages at their camps, providing campers with the opportunity to learn new skills while also gaining game-time experience. Our summer softball camps are designed for athletes to learn, develop, and enhance their skills in all phases of softball.
